Pale Blue Lights can trace its roots back to when bassist Mark Phelps began a solo project in 2004.  He called upon drummer Danny Breiner (Eleven Standing Still, GoLucky, the Force), and an EP was recorded.  Guitarist Ricky Burdette, Mark’s old bandmate in 33 Days, was then brought on and the group forged on as a trio for years before recording an album under the name the Blue Stone Society.  Returning to Atlanta from Chicago, vocalist and solo artist Emily Libman began playing with the group and thanks to her dynamic singing soon became the regular vocalist.  The band decided to rename itself Pale Blue Lights.  Guitarist Jason Cantrell (JC & the Boys) was added to the band and the current incarnation of Pale Blue Lights was born.
